The New Mattress

Dear New Babies,

Good luck sleeping in your new bed. First off is that its not that big. My legs hang off it all night, but since I'm 14 and I am taller, it is kind of small. But that's one girls opinion. Your small, well for now, so it will suit you well! Oh yeah, watch out for the giant spring in the middle of your bed. Its like sleeping on a bridge with your back arched up and your feet down.

Second, your new bed is made out of plastic so its not that soft. I think its made out of plastic just in case one of you babies pee on it. Your bed also may have stars and hearts on it. That design may get kind of boring staring at it for a half an hour when you can't sleep. Lucky for you, you live in a world where they make mattress covers for crib mattresses. They have ones with outer space, stripes, different colors, animals, solid colors and even ones with your favorite Disney characters. Now that's fun to stare at!

Last but not least, your gonna have so much fun sleeping in your bed. I mean come on, none of the teen beds have floating toys over our heads. I guess that's the price you pay for growing up! You can have your mattress any way you like it. Well actually that's not until you start talking and tell your parents what kind of mattress cover you want. so besides the shortness, the springs, the plastic and the boring design, your bed is alot of fun to play in and to grow up in. Yup, thats right I said the "G" word.
