Questions And Worries Through The Days

I have been the youngest in my family for about...well, ever! I don't mind but Ialways look up to my big brothers and sisters. It would be nice if I could have someone to look up at me. In the beginning of February, all that will change, well maybe. My moms new boyfriend, Scott, came up from Florida to Massachusetts. He had moved in with us and it has made a big difference. I see my mom doing things I never could see her do before. like have her fourth child. We found out she is having a baby girl. She named her Kristina. Kristina Lynn Buchanan to be exact. Ican't wait! My moms best friend is throwing her a baby shower. I have some gifts already but.... there not finished. I would name what I got but knowing my mom she will read this and figure out what I got her. Sorry! Patti is my moms best friend. They have known each other for about five years. She is the one who is throwing her a baby shower. I get to help with the decorations which is going to be so much fun! Recently my mom has been having labor pains. She almost had the baby on Halloween weekend. I was so scared but yet so excited. I know, doesn't make sense!? Lucky for us she didn't have her during trick or treating hours. I mean I need to fill my trick or treating bag with candy! No I'm just kidding, I probably won't trade my younger sister for candy. But who knows by how annoying sisters and brothers can get. The day after Halloween, November 1, it was my moms birthday! Kristina was so close to having to share her birthday with her mom. That day we went for a picnic at Fort Hill. Fort Hill is a small park up our street. It is good to write, play games, have picnics or even just chill. During our birthday picnic I thought mom was going to have Kristina.....again! Don't worry it gets worse. When I got home from school on November 2 my mom wasn't home. I had to go to band in a half an hour. So many things wentthrough my head. My moms cell phone was left on the table so she must of rushed out. I didn't know what to think. Then I remembered that Scott always carries his cell phone. I called him up and he said that they are at the hospital and mom is dehydrated. When they got home I found out mom could have the baby any time from now up till December. She is going to have C-section when she has the baby. Me, my mom and Scott are all worried. In the next two hours mom could be giving birth. Everyday at school now I think about her. I am now bringing my phone to school everyday and checking it every minute. So as you can see as each day goes by I will always be worried and have questions!
